Self Help Book - this is a complete self-help recovery programme to overcome anorexia using cognitive therapy techniques that have been tried and tested for many years and shown conclusively to work. Anorexia nervosa is the best known and most dangerous eating disorder. It's especialy common among young women. Although it occurs in both women and men of all ages, in all social groups. Unless treated, more than 20 per cent of sufferers will die of causes related to the disorder. There is also considerable evidence that anorexia is more widespread than we suppose, and that the illness is under-diagnosed among socially disadvantaged groups.

The main aim of this book is to give people with Bulimia Nervosa and binge eating problems the means to help themselves towards recovery. Nonetheless there is a feeling of optimism and hope about the book. The self-help guide is easy to understand and highly recommended.
