Long COVID

When symptoms of COVID-19 have not resolved, or new symptoms have persisted beyond 12 weeks of initial infection, and there are no other medical reasons for the symptoms, then it may be classed as Long COVID.

Long COVID is a new condition and research is progressing all the time.

If your Long COVID symptoms are not improving, and having an impact on your daily activities, self-management can be helpful, especially in the first instance. If you are struggling to manage your symptoms with self-management, please contact your GP.

This booklet may be helpful for Adults, parents/carers, children and young people who have been experiencing Long COVID for more than 4 weeks.
