Out of hours cover is provided by the primary care organisation, this is between 6 pm - 8 am Monday - Friday. To obtain medical advice at these times please contact NHS24 on 0845 4242424. A receptionist in the Emergency Call Centre will answer your call. They will either (1) arrange advice from a doctor or nurse; (2) invite you to attend the Centre to be seen by the doctor; (3) arrange a home visit if you are too ill to visit the Centre
